I stayed out how late?

Got home at 1:30am and went straight to bed. Yesterday I did the usual; go to work, cardio workout/shower and then work on whatever art stuff that is to be done. Well instead I went back out to the city to meet with Adam for a small dinner of Vietnamese Spring rolls in Chinatown and then off to Lucky Jack's for a bitchin' open mic! Neither of us ever went to one but our high school buddy, Lily was the feature that evening. We knew her as musical but she was more in the dramatic arts where we circled around so thus, we never heard her play. And that little ho-bag had returned to NYC for a month already from her nomadic trip to South America and never mentioned it till I noticed her post on her myself about the show...the night before!

Anyway Adam and I surprised her at the club and mingled with her other friends and fellow musicians. It was a hell of a lot of fun and her performance was fantastic! The atmosphere and music was great and I wished I could've stayed for little longer but being up since 6am, I knew I had to go home. If you live in the NYC, I totally recommend the Thursday Open Mic-Club over at Lucky Jack's. The musicians who play there are very talented, guaranteed great music.

You can check out my lovely Lily's music at http://www.myspace.com/lilyandfrank I hope she gets the mp3 recordings up from last night's show soon. I'd love to have them in my ipod while I work. :D

Oh and on a totally random note: MY PENGUIN BUTTONS HAVE ARRIVED! BEHOLD!
